To help spread awareness about the violent and complex crisis taking place throughout Mexico, Project Paz in collaboration with W magazine and Rose Bar Screenings presented a private showing of the film Días de Gracia. This presentation of the critically acclaimed film directed by Everardo Gout was hosted in August 2011 in New York City by jewelry designer Sara Beltran, Michael Bastian’s PR director Eugenia Gonzalez and W magazine’s director Karla Martinez.

Important guests including Thakoon, Paul Haggis, Taylor Tomasi Hill and Liliana Dominguez attended the screening, which was presented by Leopoldo Gout, the film’s producer. Set in Mexico City, this feature film addresses the crisis and examines its effect on the lives of three individuals who walk a fine line between innocence and corruption while trying to survive.

Through this private showing, Project Paz furthered its social mission of reaching out to its peers in New York to increase their awareness of the need for peace in Ciudad Juarez and engage them in its cause.
